Consumers are showing a growing interest in rural events, terroir products and experiences that immerse them in country life. Of all the activities provided in Brome-Missisquoi, interest in gourmet experiences is at the top of the list. Nearly 25% of people surveyed in 2012 have visited a winery or chosen agritourism as part of their stay. And, obviously, the businesses in the region benefit from well established agritouristic routes.

The Brome-Missisquoi Wine Route (Route des vins de Brome-Missisquoi) that criss-crosses the region has attracted some 200,000 visitors in recent years. The Wine Route is the only official route recognized by Tourism Quebec. It is easily accessible from highways like Autoroute 10 and includes nearly 25 wine-growers and 80 tourism businesses that are part of Amies de la Route des Vins (Friends of the Wine Route).

As well, several other group and network activities help entrepreneurs make their product known in the region and in Quebec. See the Documents and Links section for more information.
